And she's grateful for it. It forced her to fail, get back up and try again — more than once. Her career has never followed a straight line, and that's become one of her greatest advantages.
Over 20+ years, Kristen has worked across fix-and-flips, residential resale, new construction, staging and interior design, investor relations for multifamily, short-term rental ownership and operations — and most recently built a luxury amenity e-commerce brand from scratch.
For years, some of those chapters felt like detours. They weren't. Together, they taught her to see property from more than one side of the table: as an agent, investor, designer, operator and entrepreneur.
Today, that means Kristen rarely looks at a property through just one lens. She considers market value, positioning, investment potential, design, resale and the bigger financial picture — then helps her clients determine what actually makes sense for them.
Strategy first. Transaction second. Kristen looks at the numbers, the property and the bigger picture before recommending a move. She believes design can create value, positioning can change perception, and the right deal matters more than simply getting a deal done. If she doesn't believe something makes sense, she'll say so.
Real estate often intersects with lending, tax strategy, 1031 exchanges, cost segregation, design, property management and operations. Kristen doesn't pretend to be the expert in every discipline. She believes in bringing the right professionals into the conversation when the situation calls for it.
